(hereinafter “Provider”) on this website (hereinafter “Offer”). The legal basis is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

Access data

Provider (or its Webspace provider) collects data about every access to Offer (in server log files). The access data include: name of the website accessed, file, date and time of the data retrieval, data volume transferred, notification of the retrieval, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (the site visited previously), IP address and requesting provider.

Provider only uses the protocol data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, optimizing and the security of Offer.

Use of personal data

Personal data is information with the aid of which a person’s identity can be determined, i.e. personal details that can be traced back to a person. These include, for instance, the name, e-mail address or telephone number.

Provider only gathers, uses and passes on personal data according to Section 6 GDPR, if the user consents to the collection of the data or if this is permissible.

Contacting, Sending documents (e.g. CV)

When contacting Provider (for example using a contact form or e-mail), the user’s information is stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case further inquiries follow.

By sending your CV via the general contact form or to any other Hilltop employee directly, you fully agree into the storage and processing of your personal data, in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract, according to Section 6 Para.1 GDPR (here: a possible recruiting service/placement by Hilltop).

Newsletter, Mailings

With the newsletter, the mailings and other ways of contacting potential partners we inform you about us and our offerings. If you wish to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address. These data are only used for sending the newsletter and are not passed on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storing of the data and e-mail address and their use for the sending of the newsletter, using the link in the newsletter itself, in your profile or by notifying us: datenschutz(at)hilltop.de

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies so that you can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept or reject a cookie. Alternatively, your browser can be configured to automatically accept cookies under certain conditions or to always reject them, or to automatically delete cookies when closing your browser. Google Analytics

This website uses functions of Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a server in the United States by Google and stored there.

In the event of IP anonymization being activated on this website, Google shortens the IP address of the user within the member states of the European Union or other contracting states to the convention on the European Economic Area in advance. The full IP address is only transmitted to the Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases.

By order of the operator of this website Google will use this information to assess the user’s use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to render further services to the website’s operator that relate to the use of the website and the Internet.

As Google Analytics is used together with a Google advertising service, the data recorded by Google Analytics may also be brought together with data from third-party cookies (from websites from other providers). You can find out more about this at http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Users can prevent cookies from being stored on their computer by setting their browser software accordingly. However, this Offer points out to the users that they may then not be able to fully use all functions of this website. The users can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and data relating to their use of the website (incl. their IP address) from being sent to or processed by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin made available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Alternatively, to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, click on this link to prevent the recording of data by Google Analytics within this website in the future. In such a case, an opt-out cookie is stored on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click on this link again.
